Annie Perkins has lived at Clink Cottage Farm in Bidford-on-Avon all of her life, as have three generations of her family. With the support of her husband Terry and family she is bringing her dream alive by creating the Market Garden that her great grandfather started way back when.
All the ingredients are locally produced and sourced and all of the products are made by Annie’s. Annie’s love of baking and rearing Rare Breed Highland cattle, Herdwick & Jacob Sheep and Berkshire & Gloucester Old Spot Pigs comes from her Grandad's passion for the land and his baking (he was a Master Baker). She loves creating wonderful baked goods such as award winning pies, pasties, cakes and hampers, as well as preserves from the Market Garden.
The fantastic meat that Annie’s produce is a direct result of the way they look after their animals. They graze freely in the orchards around the farm and Annie’s firmly believe in resting not only the animals but the meat they produce as well.
This year, 2011, marks another milestone for Clink Cottage Farm as they realise their dream of bringing the Market Garden back to its former glory. As they grow Annie's Market Garden they are hoping to be able to introduce a vibrant locally produced Market Garden with that real family feel and values.
