A refreshing cup of tea in the afternoon is very much part of our daily ‘ritual’ and more often than not, a day without tea does not seem ‘quite right’. Although, when the weather is sweltering, a hot drink is not always so appealing.
Tg Green Teas has the answer – a ready-to-drink chilled tea which comes in three varieties in a handy bottle which is perfect to take anywhere.

The two women behind Tg Green Teas are Dr. Hua He and Sophia Nadur. Hua, originally from Shanghai, is a qualified doctor and research physician, She grew up with the traditional health and wellness of green tea, fruits and herbs which have been very much a part of the everyday life of the people of the Chinese Middle Kingdom for over 4,000 years.
Sophia was born Trinidad and has spent over 20 years working in marketing and innovation in the food and drinks industry. Now, both of them reside in the UK and their partnership has enabled them to bring the delights of green tea to all and realise the Tg Green Teas brand.

Enjoying an uplifting iced tea couldn’t be simpler, as Tg have done all the work for you. Infused to perfection using Chun Mee green tea leaves to give a soft, crisp, clean taste. All you need to do is put them in the fridge before pouring.
A sprinkle of ginseng is added to give you a little boost and the tea is sweetened with the merest amount of sugar and a touch of stevia leaf – good news for those cutting down on sugar or avoiding artificial sweeteners.
We liked the the level of sweetness which was just enough to make for an easy-drinking experience and to keep it light and refreshing and ultimately thirst-quenching.

Green tea is famous for its antioxidant properties so those looking for a drink with positive wellbeing benefits, Tg delivers all the good stuff.
There are three flavour variations; ‘Original’, ‘with Jujube’ and ‘’with Mandarin’ and all drinks are 100% natural with no artificial flavourings, colours or preservatives.

The green tea flavour is there and we found no high levels of bitterness which can sometimes be off putting in other teas.
Jujube fruit, also known as the Chinese red date does indeed add a date flavour, very similar to a light raisiny taste. We found it to be an interesting flavour and produced a good after-taste too.
Not only does jujube taste good it also adds some vitamin C and other nutrients into the mix.
Mandarin is the very easy-drinking version with a light and citrussy flavour and real zing from mandarin peel.

We all know that too much sugar is bad for us but when plain water seems just seems too plain and boring it’s all too easy to reach for certain soft drink brands.
Tg Iced Green Teas are a tasty and more healthy alternative at just 30 calories for 330ml and if you’re not too sure about the taste of green tea, we can recommend the mandarin variety as a good entry level.

We are pleased to award Tg Green Teas our 'Artisan Food Trail Approved' status for their Iced Green Tea with Ginseng, Iced Green Tea with Jujube & Ginseng and Iced Green Tea with Mandarin & Ginseng.
